Surgery

General Surgeons focus on illnesses affecting the abdomen (intestines, esophagus, stomach, colon, liver, gallbladder and bile ducts) as well as thyroid glands and hernias. General surgeons will often be called in on emergency situations to help diagnose illnesses and  coordinate surgical treatment if needed.
